I am proud to be a midwife and to support families through the incredible journey of pregnancy to parenthood. I am currently a member of the College of Midwives of Ontario and the Association of Ontario Midwives.
I completed two years of Health Studies at Queen’s University before moving to New Zealand where I graduated with a Bachelor of Midwifery degree from Otago Polytechnic in 2017. During the midwifery program, I had the opportunity to provide midwifery care in home, hospital and birth centre settings. I also completed placements in the NICU, sexual health centre and with a lactation consultant. Through my training, I developed a deep respect for the process of physiological birth and the importance of creating a calm and respectful space for the family during this time. After moving back to Canada, I completed the International Midwifery Pre-Registration Program at Ryerson University. I also completed a five-month clerkship here at Kitchener-Waterloo Midwifery Associates before beginning my career here as a Registered Midwife. My focus is on providing you with information, options and evidence-based midwifery care.
I am excited to be a part of the KWMA team and look forward to meeting you!
